While the Coatis and Monkeys where eating bananas

..I was being eaten by mosquitos and black flies but it was worth it. This morning they where visiting the house, I guess there must have been a group of 15 Capunchin monkeys and 15 or more Coatis. It was incredible, it was like they came to say goodbye. But after two and a half weeks in Monteverde with Edgar, it is time for me to go and discover some of the rest of the countries here in the latin world. Even though it is hard to leave a place to which I have grown attached to so much. People are placing bets about when I will be coming back, in eight days, with christmas or in March, hihi, that’s really funny. Well I think it is very nice to have a base where you know your welcome and people love you. So these two weeks went by pretty fast, plans changed (typical Costa Rican) and made room for spontanious things. I was alone with Edgar the last week and a half, and it was real nice, we did so many things together. He has a Taller, where they weld many things for cars or make steel-constructions, like a sun. Very beautifull. So I always was with him following like his shadow, and so we had a lott of fun. Life can be very hard sometimes, and having a Dutchie running around can be stress-relieving. I mostly was behind the computer which I didn´t like, but I got a lott of stuff done for my photos and things. Also we did some very nice things, like I went ziplining, sorry to all the people I said no to. But yes I did it with Edgar, and I even did the Tarzanswing. And I didn´t like the ziplining that much, it is just very scary, but the tarzanswing reminded me of a jump I did in sixflags Holland, which was very nice. I had a lott of fun, wanna hear me scream, just look at the video.

Last Sunday we went to a motocross (m´encanta Motocross) in Alajuela near San Jose. So we had to leave really early to be there in time, but during the drive the breaks gave some trouble, so Edgar had to fix that at a gasstation. But as he said himself, like Mc Gyver he will find a solution, and he did. So we went to the motorcross and had a lott of fun. After that we met Sara and the kids in Alajuela, where we had to pick up a load to take to Monteverde, so we took all the stuff back with us. We had so much fun, and where laughing all the time. It is so incredible to be in another country where you meet people from different cultures and with different languages, but still so many things remain the same. We were talking about jokes in English about Little John, in spanish he is calles Pepito, and in dutch we say Jantje. Also jokes about your mother in law seem to be universal. But ofcourse not only jokes, also experiences from the past, thoughts about life, relationships everyting. THANK YOU EDGAR!!! Well now I am very curious about my next experiences in new countries.
